To be eligible to get adaptive equipment through the welfare services (NAV Hjelpemiddelsentral) you need to have a permanent disability. Spike is an adaptive sports equipment. Funding from NAV differentiates between people under and over the age of 26 years old:
NAV fully covers the total cost of an adaptive sports equipment for people under the age of 26.
For people over the age of 26, the user must pay a deductible of 10% or a maximum of 4000 NOK.
